Usage

Scripts

Open or edit a single .phont file. Run evaluates its explicit ledgers and assertions. A failed script does not replace the current project.

Projects and tableaux

Open a version 4 .ottab project, or enter candidates, constraints, ranks and violation counts in the editor. Blank cells mean missing evidence. Decimal and fractional weights remain exact.

Second-order comparison

Enter source and target tableaux, choose a query, and declare its scope and transport. Each tableau is evaluated independently. Preservation is relative to the selected query.

Export

SVG and PDF retain vector output and fonts. PNG and JPEG support 1×, 2× and 3× resolution. All formats use the same tableau renderer and a white background for publication.

Limits

Scripts: 128 KiB. Files: 512 KiB. Projects: 32 tableaux, with up to 64 candidates and 32 constraints each. Operations stop after ten seconds. Images are limited to 12 megapixels.

Disk commands, imports, serial derivations, learning and Q-Calculus are unavailable in the web edition. Uploaded LaTeX is not executed.

Example citations are recorded in the files. Interpreter diagnostics and analysis content retain their original language.
